Wow I haven't written a "talk" section for one of my artworks in a long time. I think they mainly served as my replacement for instagram's caption function and so naturally as more time passed from when I was active on instagram I felt less of a need to talk about a drawing. Anyways hi. Kind of made the best thing ever yeah dont mind me!

This took so long this art is composed of 2 finished drawings so it took a total of 3 files to make this. I tried to make my rendering more interesting by incorporation lineart into it. Honestly the best rendering I've ever done. The clothing folds are aren't so uncanny! 

I've never played Your Turn to Die but I like the artstyle. I also came across some artby Yumiko Kawakuya I thought was awesome. This is a lot of citing my sources just to say I drew clean lines and didn't shade a part of this drawing *confetti*. I'm free from feeling obligation to render everything I draw. Expect to see flatter but weirder art soon.

Background inspired by memo pads. I haven't used those bokeh/shape brushes in literal years. This felt like a return to when I used to make desaturated frilly "cute" drawings in 2022, totally loaded up with those brush effects.
