Why you should care
To be very straightfoward, tens of thousands are dying and hurting. Almost 2 million people are displaced in Gaza with no safe place to go, always at the risk of an israeli air strike, bombing, or raid making them a martyr. Countless families' homes have been reduced to rubble, children are suffering from starvation and malnurishment. The thousands of Palestinian hostages in Israeli concentration camps are being tortured, killed, and sexually, physically, and verbally abused.
Since October 7, 2023, over 37,000 Palestinians (+thousands more buried under rubble) have been killed. If a part of you is not moved or feel an urge in you to do something about that, youve lost a piece of your humanity.
But even beyond this fact is more reasons to care. A free Palestine means another tragic case of colonialism & ethnic descrimination/oppression will have been upended. The struggle of Palestinians is a struggle we all face, both because they are just as much a part of humanity as us & because the very universal & basic concept of oppression of a marginalized group is something me and you face too.

Home of information on the BDS movement. Site operated by the Palestinian BDS National Committee; the largest coalition made up of 170+ Palestinian-led associations, unions, organizations etc. Part of their purpose is to act as the standard reference point for BDS campaigns. “BDS” is an acronym for boycott, divest, & sanction. It is the primary model being followed to create the largest amount of international economic, academic, & cutural pressure on Israel, pressuring them to comply with international law in allowing/protecting the human rights of Palestinians.
